Headed into its 22nd year, the Heritage Festival is back with a fresh new look, but with the support of the same great community! Join us in downtown Marlborough for a weekend long celebration of culture and community with great music, food and drinks! With over 150 vendors, 3 stages of live music, yoga in the Union Common and thousands of attendees, this event will have something for the whole family to enjoy!

The 2017 Heritage Festival will be spread across downtown Marlborough over three days with three stages of live music, variety of vendors and food offered throughout!
The three-day celebration kicks off with live music, an array of street vendors, and a KidZone all in front of the illuminated Frank D. Walker building. This event is completely FREE and fun for all ages!
5 hours of Live Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Pop and Rock music!
Face painting, train rides, games, life-sized super heroes & princesses!
FREE group yoga class for all levels! Achieve your balance and spiritual well-being as the sun sets! Group classes offered for sunrise, kid, and baby-wearing yoga all weekend!
Funky Friday (21+)
For patrons of age, make sure you get down to Funky Murphy’s with the rest of the city and let the DJ and drink specials do the rest! This is the official after-party of Freedom Friday!
A day for families, community members and all to see, taste and experience the different cultures of Marlborough! Choose one or more of our NEW and exciting Unity Day attractions to enjoy!
A culture walk on Main Street with authentic representation of Marlboro’s prominent cultures complete with vendors
5 hours of culturally diverse performances for all ages equipped with an Oktoberfest beverage tent for (21+)
Wine & Cheese Festival
Taste wine and cheese from around the globe while listening to live jazz music
An interactive walk through Marlborough’s rich history presented by the Historical Society! Paying tribute to the historic Williams Tavern on top of the Court St parking garage will be The Heritage Festival Main Stage enhanced with a full-scale production
Today we celebrate as a community! Main Street will be closed from Rt. 85 to Rt. 20 and lined with 150+ vendors. The chili-chowder competition will be heating up on the parking garage rooftop and we will be giving out numerous Community Awards, as well as crowning a victor to the Chili-Chowder Challenge!

Highland City Striders will be back with their annual fun run for everyone starting at 9am!
8th Annual Chili-Chowder Challenge
A rooftop, lots of chili, lots of chowder, and just one ticket necessary. Be your own judge and taste the best that local eateries and regional restaurants have to offer!
Live DJ to start the morning off with more live music to follow! Closing ceremonies finished with the annual community awards and winners of the weekend’s competitions!
